Project Management Assistant I

We are searching for a Project Management Assistant who can provide assistance in the delivery of project management service- assisting the clients operation manager.

-Provides secondary daily point of contact to client, contractors and consultants at project level

-Assists the manager in creating and administering project execution plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

-Assists the manager on day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope including project monitoring and controls during the project lifecycle

-Assists in ensuring that all project-related documents are appropriately filed, and that record logs are kept up to date and made accessible to project teams

-Assists in collecting and analyzing key project data on a weekly basis, and assists the manager on associated required reporting

-Assists the manager with regular reporting on project status

-Attends project meetings, and assists in producing and circulating agendas and meeting minutes

-Assists the manager in tracking and updating the project budget

-Assists the manager in monitoring and addressing project billing issues and anomalies, both internal and external

-Assists in reviewing invoices received from project consultants before passing to manager

-May follow up with project consultants, as directed, regarding questions or clarifications to their invoice

-Assists in appropriate filing of completed and signed project legal documents.

-Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary



-High school diploma (or equivalent) plus eight years related experience OR an Associate's Degree in a related technical field plus six years related experience.

-Should be articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and good decision making abilities. 

-Facility Operations experience preferred

-Should have good communication skills.

Must generally understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
