Maintenance Scheduler

Our Washington Team is team is growing! If you want to be a part of a successful global organization and have at least four years of experience as a Scheduler we would like to connect with you.

The role is based at a client project site in Bellingham, WA. It is essential that you have previously demonstrated the skill of being mindful of a client environment and maintaining a professional manner at all times. This role prepares and updates bar chart or critical path method (CPM) schedules, while supporting senior scheduling staff, the project team and stakeholders with time management and controls.

Responsibilities

-Responsible for all aspects of standard scheduling functions including, but not limited to, schedule development, administration, maintenance, progressing, reporting, and benchmarking. Interact with the following teams: Projects and/or Turnaround Planning, Maintenance, Contractor Scheduling Resources, Control of Work (CoW) and StrategicImplementation Planning.
-Develop and maintain appropriate and accurate schedules and schedule basis documents. These tools help support efficient execution of work, CoW permitting, cash flows and cost forecasts.
-Act as a single point of contact for assigned department, program, or project.
-Provide comprehensive and accurate schedule reports using data from multiple sources including appropriate level of analysis to ensure a “no surprise“ approach.
-Support construction activities in the field.
-Closely monitor performance against realistic targets to ensure that objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.

-Implement appropriate levels of field quantity and schedule analysis to validate contractor field progress.
-Identify, analyze, and respond to project opportunities, risks, and uncertainties.
-Ensure appropriate application of change control process.
-Review contractors' schedules for accuracy.
-Facilitate interactive planning sessions, integrated scheduling sessions, etc.
-Apply client site scheduling policy, procedures, processes, guidelines, tools and templates.
-Ensure and maintain compliance with Client Published Guidelines and Common Process as it relates to Controls.
-Support team with stage gated process.
-Work with site resources to complete all closeout requirements including lessons learned exercises.
-Develop earned value reports.
-Support continuous improvement efforts for the scheduling team and assigned controls team.
-Evaluate critical and near critical path activities


Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field, plus four years’ relevant experience

-Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision making abilities.

-Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Must have strong to excellent understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations; strong to excellent understanding of earned value concepts, calculations, and rules of credit; proficiency in Primavera scheduling products; and report preparation skills.
-Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project

- Valid driver’s license

Successful candidates must have the ability to obtain a TWIC card through the TSA agency
