Faithful+Gould are currently looking for an experienced Document Controller to form part of our Programme/Project Management Consultant (PMC) project team based in Abu Dhabi.


  • Min of 6 years Document Control/Management experience on major building projects (e.g. mixed-use/high rise/hotels/mega development projects)
  • Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multi functional projects
  • Arabic speaker preferred
  • Candidate must be based in UAE
  • Strong experience in Aconex (power user)
  • Capable of reviewing existing operations within an organisation through all the project phases (processes and procedures in both office and site), assessing both the strengths and weaknesses and assisting in compiling a bespoke set of process and procedures of all of the activities including but not limited to quality, progress, commercial matters, value, safety, design and construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of project controls procedures.
  • A “rounded profile”, comfortable with planning, analysis and managing process and commercial considerations. The successful candidate will also be able to mobilise people and teams and drive for a successful delivery 
  • Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures both within projects, with clients and internally
  • Other duties as requested from time to time


  • Degree qualified: Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Professional membership preferred
  • Must be able to communicate confidently in both written and spoken English
  • Arabic translation advantageous but not essential
  • High level of computer literacy, especially in Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Experience with ISO9000 quality requirements.
