Construction Data Visualization Specialist
Our Denver Team is growing! If you want to be a part of a global international corporation within a local team that is growing at a rapid pace and have experience as a Developer, we want to talk with you! This position will play a key role in supporting growth through data-driven decision making. This position has the unique opportunity to establish and grow new business intelligence capabilities that advance the company’s ability to access and use critical sources of information. Core to the Developer role will be the design and development of dashboards that convert complex data into clear, visually intuitive, dynamic tools that enable business users to quickly and easily access related data. The position necessitates strong technical skills in data architecture and modeling, plus creativity in data visualization and dashboard design using platforms such as Power BI. This position will be located in Denver and may require some regional travel to client sites as needed. We will consider financial support in relocation for the exceptional candidate seeking long term tenure.

Responsibilities
-Design, develop, and deliver dashboards that enable senior leaders and business teams to efficiently access key sales information within dynamic and intuitive tools
-Build optimized data models that support dashboard requirements, integrating data from enterprise data warehouses, cloud platform, and on-prem sources
-Apply superior creativity and design talent in data visualization and dashboard development
-Understand key business needs and translate into dashboard data, metrics, and dimension requirements
-Work closely with data engineers and IT partners on foundational data model construction and data access
-Manage the overall dashboard portfolio and roadmap for the business group, constantly seeking ways to maximize business team use, standardize offerings, and drive efficiencies
-Act as the subject matter expert, including responsibilities for training, dashboard reviews, and issue troubleshooting
-Share solutions and collaborate with the broader analytics, business intelligence, and internal IT community
-Continually engage in self-learning activities to advance understanding of the latest Power BI capabilities
-Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and risk policies

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems
-Minimum three (3) years of full-time professional business experience developing business intelligence solutions in a private, public, government or military environment
-Experience developing data models and dashboards
-Expert-level proficiency in designing and building data models to enable optimal use
-Preferred-Expert-level proficiency in dashboard design using Microsoft Power BI or other similar software applications, ability to apply talents in data visualization and digital design to create visually intuitive dashboards
-Able to present a design portfolio of past dashboard development work
-Proficiency in SQL
-Preferred-Experience with Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and leveraging within Power BI, or similar software
-Preferred-Experience with the Microsoft Azure technologies (ADLS, AAS/OLAP, Databricks/Spark)
-Experience gathering business requirements for reporting needs
-Strong attention to detail and managing time efficiently
-Intermediate-level Excel skills (minimum)
-Strong collaboration skills
-Highly responsive and driven individual for a demanding work environment
