The Role:
The Business Services Team (BST) supports the UK Faithful+Gould business in change initiatives, systems and technology, assurance, and technical leadership.  The Assistant Consultant will work alongside the Business Services Director, Change Lead and Head of Programme Services to support them in delivering their objectives. 

The Assistant Consultant will report to the Business Change Lead.  The work to be done by the Assistant Consultant will be set out by the Business Change Lead to ensure it is manageable and coordinated. The team will provide support and guidance as needed to the Assistant Consultant to ensure we deliver our collective objectives. 

We will also provide a structured training and development plan that will include formal and informal learning and experience.  This is to ensure the Assistant Consultant develops their knowledge and skills, and therefore creates opportunities for career development. 

We would envisage that the successful applicant holds a degree qualification and is keen to secure a position in a project and programme management consultancy.  In order to improve our diversity and skills, we would welcome all graduates including those with non-cognate degrees.  Non-cognates would be encouraged to consider a course in project management (or similar) or pursue a recognised industry qualification (eg PRINCE2 or APMP).  Such courses would be funded by the company and day release provided as appropriate.

  • Willing to travel across UK offices to engage with staff and clients to deliver the role.
  • Able to build excellent working relationships and to work as part of a team.
  • Strong and assured communicator.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • A finisher that will deliver tasks on time.
  • A keenness to learn and develop
  • An interest in technology and skills in Microsoft O365
